No.......sorry.............but I need to buy one to do the C-Class my Dad has, so if you are really stuck, buy one at a local Motor Factors (€20) and I'll buy it off you when you're done !

my mate in the motor factors is trying to get on in for me today.... if he does and its not too pricey, you can borrow it no probs.

then again if anyone has a loan!!

i dont know what arrangement your cars have, but the seperator for a Cortina mk2 is simplly a forked bar which goes into the joint and as it is tapered, it splits the joint asunder with a tap from a hammer....in an emergency, a large spanner will do this too......( so long as you remember to take off the nut of course.....as you will be fitting new parts, damage to the old parts is immaterial i should think.....( ps if there isnt room to swing a big hammer under the wheel arches....get a smaller hammer...( or a bigger car...):D

...................and some new thumbs, and knuckles !!

A hammer is a carpenters tool at the best of times, and spanners are for spanning nuts !!

Get the right tool for the right job !!

read it again...proper joint splitter is a forked tapered bar which you tap in with a hammer...spanner is for emergencies....it's an old car not precision engineering for heavens sake ...and if you are replacing the parts, what harm can you do?
id love to know how you would part a seized nut from its bolt.....presumably you wouldnt resort to the oxy accetaline? no, but most mechanics would....
