Seting up a printer

I tried setting up a printer and for some reason when i click print nothing damn well happens.... BUt when i turn the printer on it is recognised to be connected by the computer, whats going on?

u sure its set as the default printer? go t o control panel and check the printers installed

its through usb...

Please tell me any hints that there is cus im going back tomorow and i just cant solve this problem along with a couple of others its like this computer is my bad karma

Has it been unplugged recently?
If the system was started up without it,
it could have deleted the default setting, and set up something
like FAX as the default printer.
Go with splinter's suggestion, and be sure.
Also check if it's changed to letter size paper when it got re-detected.

If the printer was attached to your computer when you installed its drivers some times it wont be picked up after the driver install. Try pluging it into a diffrent USB port as this can help. If not make sure its selected as the default printer. START>>PRINTER AND FAXES. Just make sure there is a little tick attached to the upper left of the relavent Icon
