Which Red alert to buy??

Hey all,

I bought red alert years ago and played it for about 20 mins and couldnt stand the graphics so i just uninstalled it but im always hearing that it was a classic game so i figure i should have given it a chance.

Anyway im wondering if im gonna get into these red alert games which one should i get first Red alert 2 C&C ??

Command and conquer generals is the best

"couldnt stand the graphics" = you though they were poor..? Then, Generals is the right direction for you.

Generals has got its charms but red alert 2 will always be the best imo. I went through an RA2 fad about 3 years ago, playing liek every day for a few months. Then a few months ago I picked up Generals and gave it a go and thought it was pretty good.

But then.......then I picked up RA2 again and I was like "Praise the Lord for RA2!!". The gameplay is just so addictive and I just didnt feel that as much in Generals. I agree about the graphics but if you can see past them then RA2 all the way!:D

yup, red alert 2 is the best one. great gameplay and some cool units. didnt really like generals at all tbh.

Didnt think much of generals at all tbh, RA2 was excellent though, played it a fair bit on-line myself a while ago, played about 6 games a day for a month or so. Not too sure of the balance in it though, soviets seem to get a pretty raw deal in it, as prism tanks are nigh on invincable, and the soviets lack anything worth noting that can chase them down, not to mention rocketeers for sheer annoyance factor. Regardless, v good game, more fun than generals imo, but still not as good as RA1

Which Red alert to buy??
