    Hey!
From the title you get an idea of whats needed.
I had an interview this morning with Fas in Garycastel, Athlone, for a place on a Computer and Communications Technician Traineeship course starting in early January, All went very well and the course is something that i've been after for quiet some time and all i need to do now is get a sponsor. I've been on the phone since i got home and have had some positive feedback but no real yes answer that i can bring back to fas to secure my place of which there are only 18 with demand high. I'm at the moment living in the portlaois area and am willing to travel if need be, also im not what you would call green when it comes to computers with my main intrest been in networks, and having completed 3 of 4 modules in the CCNA excam in Blanchardstown IT before having to move back down to Laois i have a little knowledge of Protocols, Hardware, Operating Systems, Lan and Wan configurations and of course TCP/IP, which protocols covers of course but its a whole big subject on its own, and so it should be, my personal interest is in Wireless Data Communications wether it be Satellite, or RF. But at the moment i do need that sponsor and don't want to waste what knowledge i do have by having to get a job on a building site or something and forgetting what cost me a lot of time, effort and money to learn. So the heat of the reel is if anyone has any information that might be of help please post as time is a factor here. Meanwhile ill keep on the phone and looking in the papers.

    Rgds.
