    I've heard rumours that there's a Home and Away society in NUI.

    Does ne one know if this is true and if so, does anyone know how I could contact them??

    That would be a falsehood.

    Any society has to jump through a series of hoops like the Labours of Heracles to be accepted. Gone of the days of setting up a stall for the "Alf Stewart Linguistic Advancement Society" and taking a euro off all and sundry only to bugger off to the pub with the money.

    no, not that i was aware of, i'm a lazy bastard and heavily involved in a bunch of other socs. so never got it off the ground, have a signiaturre list and a constitutionlying around somewhere for when i come back as a mature student and study arts. Would have been great though, if i'd had it done i'd be beside the Legion of Mary stand and accross from xtian solidarity soc. :D
