    3.10 Fontwell - FARMER GRANT
After a superb race in Cork over 16F, they make the trip over the pond to England, and get the booking of McCoy on board, which has raised my eye brows to say the least. Forecasted at 4/1 - it may infact be a shorter price than that. It's being bumped up to 27f for this race, and I feel it is one to watch.
I spotted this horse when I tipped Farmer Brown on here a few weeks back, this horse won on that day and went into my notebook.

I will second that. The booking of McCoy for this stable is telling. he rarely races for them.

Funny story, I was in a girls house on her PC (had just spend the night with her) and I saw your post about Farmer brown. I headed over to the bookies soon after and put 50 quid on it. It won and I had a nice little earner. I checked the boards back and saw that I have taken the WRONG farmer and your selection had LOST while mine won... LOL

Yeah, the majority of the people I gave Farmer Brown to did Farmer Grant as well (not on boards I don't think!).

this is my first contribution so by gentle.

    2.40 Fontwell - Barton Gate - e/w chance.
Caught the eye with some impressive form two years ago and looked to be regaining some form towards the end of last season. Fell last time out and is forecast at 20-1 here. But the opposition aren't really up to much in a pretty weak race and the conditions will suit better than the two favourites.
If it can get anywhere near its previous form, it should find it in the placings.

When I first looked at the 2.40, I fancied Hail The King, however the weight put me off. Both Hail The King and Barton Gate have great each way chances in this race. It's not a great race to be honest, and there's no reason the favourite will not be beaten here.

Farmer Grant opens as the 7/4 favourite this morning. Shocking value.

On the two horses already mentioned I think Farmer Grant is plenty short enough at 7/4 considering he has never been proven over anything close to todays distance. At the prices I would probably prefer to go for Dunbrody Miller at 9/2. I have a feeling Farmer Grant may drift.

Barton Gate is a definite each way chance and 20/1 looks like a very decent price. It's been a while since he's ran over hurdles but has some solid form to his name on soft ground.

The other horse I like today is San Piere in the 2:20 at Sedgefield, made a decent seasonal return when coming 2nd. He has 2 wins and 2 seconds from 7 starts at this course and has Graham Lee riding today.

Eric / Andrew McNamara have taken the first in sedgefield. Watch out for their runners in the last two races.... They are on fire at the moment!

I will let you lads know when Farmer Grant is running again. Should have won that race today, was going the best when fell at the last. I didn't see the race live, just catched the replay there. These things happen! Keep an eye out for him.

Fair play filly.Captain Mac wins the 2.50 for the pair at 7/1. A few people have told me to follow Andrew McNamara when he rides in the Uk.
