I recently went blonde and my make up isn't suiting me as when my hair was a different colour. So with christmas coming up and presents on the way was thinking of a complete make up overhaul.

Now I'm not one for names and brands ... well i like what i like thus every product in my make up bag being a different brand!!! Typical me. So am going to venture to BT's to get a complete new make up and consultation. But which brand to go to is the problem?

Like i said i kinda mix and match my make up so just wondering should i go totally MAC or benefit or pout or what ? I also got a new job recently so another excuse for perfecting my make up

The best thing to do is get a little from each, I mean MAC eye makeup is fab but their foundations aren't that great, Clinique have brill foundations but crap everything else, you really should mix & match, you'll end up with a better result

Hey chicky, blondes have more fun, good on you girl :D
You say you went blonde.....what tone of blonde? What's your colouring, i.e. eye colouring, skin tone etc? I'm a make up artist, PM me if you like and I'll recommend a couple of places to go/fail-safe products to buy :p

Ah, Miss Fluff. Would you not post a few products for the rest of us..! Pass on your expertise...!
I went into BT one time, and enquired if there was an 'independent' consultant, as I wanted to change from Clinique to something else...! Of course there wasn't, so I ended up at the Estee Lauder place, i think! The guy was great, so I ended up buying the foundation.. Now using a new 1 by No.7, and I find it great : Intelligent Colour.
So, go on give us Amateurs some help.....?!

    :o

I really like Estee Lauder for foundations and MAC for eyeshadows. Benefit are good for things like high beam or theit kinda unususal products but not really for the essentials.
It depends on what kinda look you wanna go for? Bold or more natural? What kinda coverage are you looking for?
What colour hair did you have before? Do you wear fake tan?
It's way too hard to advise you unless you post up a photo or something :)

Use MAC eyeshadows, so I'm doing something right..!
Pale skin, Blue eyes, short blond hair, Petite build, but I'm a 'HIP' Mom (32).
I have to Tint my eyebrows, as they're sometimes so pale you'd hardly see them..! Use fake tan, though not on face, should I?
Do with me what you want....!? "Ta".
