Cheap break to Amsterdam!

    im lookin for a cheap break to amsterdam/paris. in late january. maybe for about
    3-4 days. places ive looked have been near 300e for 3 nights.
    its for an anniversary/valentines day trip.
    please help.:(

    Have you tried pricing the flights and accomodation individually? Do a search on this forum for Paris and Amsterdam for previous threads which should include a few recomendations for accomodation.

    I'd go for Paris :) don't think there should be too much of a difference in the prices of accomodation for the two.

    I was thinking of going to Amsterdam the same time. Checked online and flights were around €170 and a half decent hotel in the city centre is around €90-100 per night. Try travelnow.com.

    Is that per room or per person. I was there in August and we stayed in a decent enough hotel in the city centre for €35 each(3 of us). Had everything we needed and right beside dam square.

    nice site, been thinkin of taking the gf to the dam for her bday in jan, some hotels lookin nice for their price.. would a standard room be a double room?
    some hotels only give the option of standard room or delux room
