    Neosupervital
    Miriam Ingram
    Alias Glee
    The Butterfly Explosion

    Neosupervital

While most of the bands currently in thrall to the 80's electro scene sound like their synths were last year's Christmas presents from their record companies, Neosupervital is a true progeny of the era's music.
Having endured his favourite musical period being as reviled as, say, genocide, you feel Neosupervital's time has come. This Dublin-based one-man band sounds like a cross between The Beach Boys and The Human League, or Ben Folds and Kraftwerk.
Finally Neosupervital is made for these times

    Miriam Ingram

Miriam Ingram combines songs, singing and instrumental arrangements to create a colourful, melodic and challenging sound - sometimes gentle, sometimes noisy - always interesting. She has recently been mixing her debut album with David Odlum. It spans a culmination of work that has been recorded in Dublin, Kerry and France with a variety of musicians and engineers. It will be released in the very near future! She is also featured on the recent risc records red bridge compilation and has been invited to appear on RTE's Other Voices live music show.
Her live performance involves an interesting array of instruments, with some of the finest musicians in town playing them. These include, Cello, Trumpet, Laptop, Keys, Guitars, Vocals and Double Bass.

    Alias Glee

Alias Glee formed in 1998, yet there is little or no evidence of this - no releases, few photos, no video. what's the story? what on earth have they been doing all these years? playing music? definitely. recording? sure. playing music to other people? eh.. not much. releasing the recorded music? hmm... no. but finally that's about to change, alias glee feel social, ambitious, hungry but in completely honest ways. no delusions of grandeur no lust for fame just an overwhelming desire to play live, travel, learn and meet people. let's go.

    The Butterfly Explosion

The Butterfly Explosion came together in the latter part of 2004 with the full line-up completed as recording began on their debut EP "Vision" in the Spring of 2005.They list their influences as Duran Duran, Smashing Pumpkins, Sigur Ros, My Bloody Valentine, Explosions in the Sky and M83. Championed by 2FM's Dan Hegarty, the EP has also received radio support from Cork to Glasgow and the band were selected to perform at the official showcases at Glasgow's Musicworks festival at the end of the summer and the forthcoming SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, March 2006.

"There is musical vision inherent in every minute of the EP. The Butterfly Explosion will soon be at the forefront of the recent re-emergence of Irish alternative, with mixes of the solid driving rhythms which typify the modern alt rock, poppy backing vocals and indispensable string arrangements" - cluas.com
