    Hi all ,

just wondering how many of you's out there have got your own ramps....?
We used to have a sweet mini ramp for ages , it was 5ft high , 8ft wide , with 8ft x 8ft of flat ........ But we had to skip it a while ago cos it was falling apart from severe weathering.........! We were skating around holes , and warped bits for about the last month , but then it became so dangerous , we had no choice......!

[ If you are lucky enough to have one , be sure to skate it whenever you can ! Because you'll only really miss it when it's gone........!
( .......can you hear the violins.......!) ]

had a 5 ft mini ramp in a friends backgarden.
    with a roof on it.
then the neighbours wanted to sell their house and threatened to sue.
    its now a shed.
for a minute there we thought we had the rain beaten.
also got a concrete bowl in a secret field too.
no issues wth weathering on that one.
    ill post pics.

Hi Moonboy , The bowl looks class......and probably alot of fun to skate....!
Something like that would be perfect for us .........!
I wouldn't expect you to tell me where it is......( probably in the North !) But i would like to know more about it , like the cost or which company built it etc........?

    Thanks ......and keep rippin'............

    cool ramp flutes..
    ehhh.
    we designed it ourselves.
my mates dad is a building type person &he looked after it& a load people who hadnt a clue what they were making built it.
id say it was just under 5k.
in terms of letting you guys on it...
give it till the summer when we get some sessions going again.
ill post pics of the making of it asap.
    too tired now.
    p.s shaggy has skated it.
he can tell you what its like.

Yeah that pool is one of the sickest things I've ever skated in Ireland. I ride bikes as well and I reckon it might be a little tight for bikes, rideable allright but ideally a bike pool would have a lot more flat and biggers transitions. If anyone has the land available and the cash then I'd be more than willing to help build some concrete I have been looking into the construction techniques involved and it's all do-able. Dublin burnside anyone?

thats a sweet kidney. looks real big though.
thats the sick thing about our bowl i rockon.
its very easy to skate but fairlt easy to pull big tricks on.
shaggys right about bike. i ride a little too &have dropped in a few times.
its smooth enough but the transitions were built for skaters.
but sure, its worth a shot.

Fair play to you Shaggy .... something like that bowl covered over would be great in each of the new council parks.

It was I who put them on the Tubes gallery, but I got them from the skatopia site, found it after researching bowl building in google!
