Hi, just wondering about the compatibility for this remote with the D50. Can't find much info about it through google apart from one or 2 reviews on Amazon UK. I know it says for the F65 but one of the reviewers wrote it works with their D70 so just wondering if the same would apply to the D50. Checked Nikon's site but couldn't find info on any remotes there. Any ideas appreciated.

here's the link to it on Amazon:

    cheers

I have one for my D70s, and the review on dpreview.com says the D50 also supports the ML-L3, so I'd say you're pretty safe.

cheers Conor, spent the whole of lunch looking for something like that  . Not sure if it'll be any good though, just tried specifying my shipping address in Amazon.co.uk as my home address in Dublin and for both the remote and an SD card I got an error in that they can't ship to that address despite the product description on each specifically stating they ship to the UK and Rep of Ireland. No idea what that's about?
Just saw your reply Alun, where did you get yours?

[EDIT] figured it out, the sellers were market place and even though the product description says it's delivered to Ireland they apparently can't?[/EDIT]

You can buy one here but I'm not sure how much shipping will be
It's also cheaper there than amazon

cheers Conor, I checked all possible sellers for it on Amazon, turns out Amazon sells at a slightly higher price than the market place seller as well as the one you linked to, (2 euro difference). Think I'll go with that as I've ordered off them loads of times and they're normally quite good at delivering quickly.

HI DBrown & welcome :) , think your best bet will be under For Sale in the Shop Category -> http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=355 .

I got it at Conns Cameras when I bought my camera there.

cheers Alun, just checked and they're out of stock, already ordered it anyway from Amazon, same price but getting a sandisk 1GB ultra too which is a lot cheaper there so works out quite well.

Yes, I was going to say that it's such a small, low value, thing that often the postage from online retailers will swamp the cost of the article itself, so it's best to combine it with something of more value to make it worthwhile.
