Harley Benton Bass Guitars?

    Has anyone ever heard of Harley Benton guitars. they are so cheap but nobody has anything bad to say about them. anyone ever get one. Let me know. i'm thinkin of gettin Harley Benton HBB6000, 6 string bass.

    and is it possible to get a string for the bass that higher than a C? an F possibly?

    Some of the reviews for Harley Bentons on Harmony Central are quite funny. None about that bass though! Quite a mixture of opinions.

    Looks like a poor-man's Yamaha, they make everything under the sun like harmonicas, violins, and beginner guitars.
    I'd be more interested in a Harley-Davidson bass meself.

    I got their standard four string as my first bass, €85. Very surprisingly good for the money. BUT I'd only recommend them for learning on.

    I've got one. its decent enough for the cash. played a few gigs with it and recorded some demos.

    Thats the 6string I was looking at I really wanna check one out, neck thru and a nice piece of wood. Let me know if you do get it, doubt Ill be getting it before the summer, my room seems to be filling day by day and Im trying to cut back on spending.
