Does anybody know who is on this committee, what counties they are from and any disputes that they have judged on lately.

Was their decision on the mark vaughan case challenged to the court or was it the DRA who overturned another committee - ( GAC committee or something?)

The DRA has a website, which is very good AFAIR. It details all their decisions and gives good summaries in plain English on how they came to reach their decision. The best thing about them is the openness. (Unfortunately I can't remember what the website is!)

The committee members are not the same for each case. I think there's a panel they pick from, solicitors, barristers, experienced GAA men etc.

AFAIR, the Vaughan case went as follows:

Dublin County Board agreed his was eligible to play v Brigids
Kilmacud went to the DRA for certainty before the game, and they agreed.
After losing, Brigids went to Leinster Council who said he was not eligible
Then it went to the GAC who also said he was not eligible.
Then it went back to the DRA, who said he was eligible, so the result stood.
Thankfully it never went to court.

They have since changed the rules to state that if the same happens in future he would be ineligible.
Vaughan has since served his suspension in the Leinster club championship.

Do you know who is on the national disputes committee and the GAC committee?
