Mothership from V is on the x10 page I think on the right. Quite small in the general scheme of things.

yeah i didnt realise the size was so small, especially when you compare the whitestar to the defiant (sly dig thrown in fromgames forum :) )

also didnt realise that b4 was bigger than b5, but that kinda makes sense in the story

pity there was none of the ships from the culture novels, that would have been cool, think some of the bigger ships (gsv's) were 300km long?

Read my mind! Although a bit difficult if they no visualisation of them.

EDIT: Mind you, he has some fairly obscure text-based ships there.

not that i saw. though it'd be tiny in comparison to just about everything else.

some of the other ships from the firefly universe would be cool, the alliance cruisers [that look like tower blocks in space] and some of the reaver ships, like the trans-u from the pilot

my god i feel so sad admitting i know this but unicrons a hell of a lot bigger than 1000k in diameter. according to the comics hes the same size as cybertron which is analogous to saturn (yes i know he was standing on it in the movie, but if they did it to scale he wouldnt have fit, even the comic had a hard time with this ). the idea of transformers living on asteroids comes form the relating of his (unicrons) origin to deaths head ,when he described how primus trapped himself and unicron in "tiny barren metal rocks" ( im paraphrasing here). the whole idea was to convey what unicron thought of the scale of his prison in comparison to his previous state as a god . to him he's vastly diminshed in terms of power and scale, to us he's still capable of eating our planet :D

Where's the Red Dwarf? :( Five miles long, three miles wide. Sure, not the biggest but it's worth a mention.

Now for the thread in PI - "I haven't kissed a girl before, but I'm a really really nice guy".

Wow the constitution class isn't that much bigger than the Hindenberg. The Ha'Tak is smaller than I expected aswell.

[edit] and I always thought that the Galaxy class were bigger than the Sovereign class. I guess you learn something new every day.

    "Are cheese puffs food?"

    "Iron Maiden are cool, right?"

Ah takes me back to the days of Ralph McQuarries' designs for Star Wars, Battlestar (mk1) etc! :) I've grown up a little since 1978!

    Mike.
