    Hey all,

I just ordered a new pc and im going to want a tuner card in it. I have a spare win tv card from about 3 years ago, but as far as i can remember it had a crap reception and crashed the odd time.

I wondering what the latest things are in tuner cards, I know there are EPG's available on the net. Could i use one of these to help record shows easly?

Also i have a sat dish now and im thinking i could hook that up too so i can watch all the free channels like all the bbc's.

    Any advice would be great,

    Thanks,

    Dave.

If you want to use the sat channels, you would need a DVB-S tv tuner for your computer. This would have to be directly connected to the satellite cable, and would not be capable of receiving analog transmissions (normal aerial).
