    Anyone know when the next set of civil service exams will be? oasis.gov.ie and publicjobs.ie are extremely unhelpful.

    do you mean the next round of the current process or the start of a new one?
    If you mean the latter, I'd say it would be for a good while... at least a year or two, as theirs already a recruitment campaign underway.

    the last apptitude tests were only in september so i'd say its a while yet,just register at publicjobs.ie and they mail you when they are starting a new recruitment campaign for any public job.i missed last appptitude test due to illness but am on the panel for a grad position in auditor generals office

    I called their helpdeask last week regarding the executive officer results, a panel is created based on the aptitude results, and the panel lasts for 2 years, so it will be a while yet before a new competition begins. Its the same for all the other civil service competitions unfortunately, and they all recently ran their recruitment competitions :(
