Num/Caps/Scroll Lock Notifications

How do I go about disabling those annoying small notifications that appear when I enable or disable the number, caps or scroll lock?

    They look like this

They always appear on the bottom right hand corner of the screen for like 2 seconds.

I've looked at every setting possible in the control panel but couldn't find anything.

    Any ideas?

are you using drivers for your keyboard?

i'd imagine it something to do with them.

    I don't think so...
When I check the device manager, it just says Standard 101/102 Key or MS Natural Keyboard so I'd say I'm using the generic XP keyboard drivers.

The keyboard itself is just a plain old Dell one. No special buttons or anything.
