    any one having problems connecting to the incoming mail server mail.eircom.net, same happens with mail1 and mail2...

    i am getting this error message

    "Unable to connect to the server. (Account: mail.eircom.net, POP3 Server: mail2.eircom.net, Error Number: 0x800ccc0e"

    Any ideas?

    Working fine for me; are you using any firewall that can block ports.
    Have a read through this
    and see if any of it is relevant to you.
