Hey all even though I'm a bit of a Amazonaholic when it comes to books besides the two second hand book shops on high street is there many others. Plus is the large one on High Street still open. Al help gratefully acknowledged:confused:

Dunno whats with the bloke who owns the one near the market
(High street) last time I went in there he had all his
ESB and Gas bills sellotaped to the windows so the public could see.

Would love to see some more 2nd hand book stores. I was looking for a hardback
of Lord of the rings as my paperback was on the way out. O'Mahoneys hardback
that I wanted was 120 Euro!!! Went looking for a 2nd hand book store
and was disappointed. They wanted 80 bucks for the hobbit when its
    only a tenner paperback.

The one near the market has nothing good anymore.

Browsers or whatever its called now seems to have mostly new stuff.

There used to be one on the junction between William street and Catherine street
but dunno if its still there. That used to have great stuff.

Across the road from Aubers(spelling?) the book store there used to also
do new and 2nd hand books (cant remember the name of store its the same
as the one up the road that does the school books)

There used to be one in the cresent Shopping centre years ago its
long gone and owener went all New books on us. I remember years ago
my father picking up a copy of London Illustrated for 20 pounds! A rare find.

I think the dude on High Street was having some disagreement with the council and the ESB over billing charges.
