    No Punk Trousers are complete without Punk-White Headphones coming out of the pockets. At least 5 pairs.

    at the moment my very cheap 1gig noname chinese knockoff mp3 player does the job for me but i've been known to use a walkman(old skool}

    was refering less to the concept of digital music and more to the Apple brand and the stigma that goes with it

    Sigh.

    Please define the 'concept' of digital music. I'd be really interested in this.

    Also, whats the stigma around the Apple brand ? The 'stigma' of producing truly innovative computers like the Mac ? or the 'stigma' of bringing the graphical user interface to the masses ? or the 'stigma' of the aesthetic beauty of the iPod ?

    Apple are true innovators in a sea of medocrity.

    Have to say, I was well impressed with the Ipod when I first saw it. Not such a fan of the later ones. But the first one was class. Though having said that, I'd still choose my creative muvo over it any day. That's just personal preference. Technologically (sp?) speaking the Ipod is excellent imo. Not sure about the aesthetic beauty bit. But there are other good players out there. Ones that get overlooked because they might not be so beautiful/expensive/trendy/white. I would assume that that was what Ferdi was talking about. Buying such things when cheaper ones do the trick just as well isn't the most punk like of acts.

    **** sake lads. That has to be the greatest one liner bate from Ferdi if it's spawned this pile of ****e that could keep goin for so ****in long. Noone gives two ****s what people listen to their music on (unless it's Janer with his non-vinyl music collection (newb)).

    Anyway. This isn't even funny. It's just complete bollox. I had to actually re-read the thread to make this reply even though I already knew it was complete pish - I'd just managed to wipe it from memory (for a reason...)

    Try the 'stigma' (:P) of charging much more just for a brand name.
