Just in from the Fitz now after winning the 50-50! 67 runners tonight with a prize pool after scalps of just under 6k. Got lucky after the break when I made an ill-timed move when short and needed runner runner diamonds to survive. The dealer granted my request! Was totally card dead for the first few hours so when I found 44 utg with only 6bb left it was gamble time. Got called by Queens  but rivered a lovely 4 to double up :o and won a few pots in quick succession to move back into a playable position with 4 tables still remaining. (Bob Battersby lasted until the final 2 tables, but alas the man the legend went out 14th). Plain sailing to the last 6 when I won a race with Jason with AK vs his JJ to move to around 80k. Up and down from there until we got to 4 (NO DEALS!). Pick up 66 utg and move 63k in looking to take the blinds, get called by AQ who had 58k and my 6's held up to move me level with the CL on around 120k. Knicked the blinds with raises 2 hands in a row to get the chip lead thenn found KK on the button. With the blinds at 4k/8k i opened for my standard 30k, 2nd in chips moves in for around 110k with 77 and my cowboys hold up. This left me heads up with around 260k against around 35k so we do a deal to split it....... only kidding Doc ;) . It was all over within a few hands, A6 winning unimproved vs J8. Including scalps it was worth nearly €2500, a nice few bob to go boozin on over christmas and the -$EV will get those Jimmy Choo's she's had her eyes on :) Dragon was slaying the Omaha game when I left, go Dragon :v:

Cheers Gary, was talking to Des afterwards on Friday at the omaha game, he had just come from there. Apparantly they now play twice a week, Friday and Sunday  Might pop down over Christmas if they have a bigger game for the laugh, I'll keep you updated!
