How I Met You're Mother

Having read a lot of good reviews of this show I aqquired the first episode and it was dreadful. Bad acting, bad jokes, poor timing, canned laughter at every single line of dialogue

Has anyone else seen this? Does this pick up in future episodes or have American critics forgotten what's funny and are just being influenced by the canned laughter?

It's "YOUR" mother. I hate correcting spelling, but its the title and feature of the topic that's spelt wrong....

Watched the first 2 episodes after hearing good things about it... was absolutely horrible!

I'm afraid the only new comedy i really like this season is "My Name Is Earl"

It's about the same level of funny as According to Jim, so make of that what you will.

I don't think it's that bad really. Does seem a little beneath Alyson Hannigan (Willow from Buffy) but her performance along with those of Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel make it watchable.

It's not amazing but it's something to watch with a cup of tea.

this show is awesome...start watching on friday now on season 3 grand being sick haha

First few series are funny enough. but it goes to the absolute dogs after about the fourth series...

I like it though can't beat the barney moments
