What if I told you I know someone that happened to?, would you be as quick to post such a glib remark in future?.

Relax, a lot of people know somebody that has and so do I. No need to get worked up over it.
In fact his comment wasn't offending at all...getting cancer at christmas is not funny...a joke is a joke and if you are upset by it, fine but don't try and guilt trip a guy. If everything was pc then there would be no humour.

That's very distasteful. Coming from someone who makes jokes about Rohyphnol all the time, that should mean something.

OP:Class:D i only have two mins of time for star wars anyway:v:

Okay Tar mate, I'm clearly a *dry* bastard because I don't laugh at aids/cancer/ebola/disabilities. I'm clearly in defecit of a healthy sense of humour because I don't laugh at poor unfortunates..

    Applies to Ruaidhri as well:

I wasn't implying that cancer is funny. I was implying that cancer isn't funny, and the joke was as funny as getting cancer or that it was not funny at all.
