I'm giving my sis a laptop and she is getting broadband from NTL.
Anyone know, what do NTL supply you with. If its just a cable modem does it connect to the laptop throgh a network cable?
Dont really want it to be USB with a laptop.
    Thanks

The standard is a modem with a network cable. If you push it, you might get a wireless router too, but it doesn't have ata ports to plug a phone into for voip.

Thanks for the info. I take it you can connect the modem to a router via network cable too.
Might get a wireless router with phone ports.
