Hi, I'm relatively new to golf and would like to hear from others who are starting off, so that I can get some practice in to build up my confidence before thinking of playing in any competitions. Would particularly like to hear from ladies in Dublin south city and county.

My mother started off by playing in Leopardstown, the have/had some sort of comps on during the week. Cant remember what they were called but they got her and a good few of her friends going.
Its as much social as golf.
I'll try find out and let you know.
