Lite Ash Strats have now really arrived since Chris is selling one:- ;)

    fen04lightash-vwh.jpg

2004 Fender Light Ash Stratocaster, (under the guard), Vintage White, excellent mid-line Strat with upscale features previously found only Fenders at twice the price. The Light Ash features, not suprisingly, a lightweight ash body (guitar weighs under 8 lbs.), birdseye fretboard maple cap neck, Am Std style 2-point fulcrum tremolo, Abalone dot inays, and most importantly, a trio of Custom Shop Texas Special pickups. Other distinctive features include all black plastic parts, oversized strap buttons, body cavities have shielding paint, and brass tremolo block. You don't see many of these in Vintage White, and I think they're only doing these with Seymour Duncans now so this is slightly uncommon model. Sells new in stores everywhere at $629 but other than some very slight fretboard discoloration (frets are perfect), this guitar is perfect - not a scratch - this one's player priced at $499.

Although this one has Texas Special p'ups.
