That RTE1 page with all the presenters looks like a who's who of the contents of a nursing home. Tubridy is the most bland thing since porridge made with water was invented - he is where he belongs, RTE1 where the listeners are all nearly dead from old age.

I really don't like Tubridy. You can always tell he doesn't get it or that he doesn't find it funny when ever he laughs at a guests joke on his show. He's so awkward.

he's a total retard, he has a column in some rag like the sunday world, I caught a glimpse of it the other day and he was spouting nonsense about how 24hr drinking in Britain is a bad idea and that it should never be introduced in this country as we wouldn't be able to handle it. Who in the name of JASUS is this little sh*te to be telling me what I could and couldn't do??? I wish he'd just f**k off and die somewhere.

hear hear! He must be the biggest loser ever. Anyone notice how he puts on this stupid voice when he's introducing a song?

so annoying, only person on tv or radio worse is Gerry Ryan, 2 of them the most condescending priccks. cant for the life of me see how any normal person could watch or listen to either without wanting to smack them around the place. only a total dimwit would find either even the slightest bit entertaining. Pat Kenny may be a plank but i'd rather watch him than them 2

An absolute fool ,i watched his show when the guy who performs Gift Grub was on Mario Rosenstock and he stole the show Tubridey didnt have the skill to control or add to the interview,he was weak and apparently he's the future of RTE broadcasting.....

Tubridy is a bell-end. I cringed when at the Rose of Tralee last year he had the following exchange:

Tubridy: "Your mother can't be here tonight, now tell me, why is that".

    Rose: "She's dead"

    :o

Ryan Tubridy lives in Dalkey where I live(actually so does Pat Kenny) and he is the biggest tool I have ever seen. I see him around the pubs and he is so stuck up its not right.

I have a story for you. I was in the queue in the supermarket in Dalkey and Ryan Tubridy was in front of me and an oldish woman was in front of him. The woman was buying something and was looking in her purse for some change. Tunbridy got annoyed with her and actuallly gave out to her for taking so long. The girl at the cash register told him to "shut the f**k up Tubridy". I couldnt stop laughing but he deserved it :D

I just cant stand the man

    Well said hehe

Young Tubridy? He goes between looking like a 16yo and looking like a 40yo.

I don't mind Gerry that much. Maybe because I'm used to him by now. Michael Cahill gets my goat.

Can't stand the sight of him. Zero spontaneity when he interviews someone. All his questions are from a card that was probably put in his hand 5 minutes before he does an interview.

Tubridy's show is a rip off of American shows like The Tonight Show and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. At least it works in America but over here all those musicians with their saxophones and drums...it just comes across as so contrived. Just like Tubridy!

The problem with Tubridy is that he's a know-all. He can monologue for hours. This passes for talent in RTE. He'll never let an interviewee tell their story. He's constantly interrupting "oh, yeah, I heard something similar last year" and "isn't that a bit like that ancient Mayan tribe" and "I actually visited there last autumn and I thought blah blah blah". Who gaf, Tubs.

Kenny suffers from know-all syndrome as well. Pompous idiot. Laugh at him.

Tubridy is the most annoying pri*k that ever graced our tv screens and radios. He should be tortured in some sort of cruel and unusual punishment.:D

Agree wit all the negative posts. I'd say that rumour about him stealing from the homeless guy is true aswell.

I think it was him who caused all those hurricanes as well

Tubridy claimed on his show that Shawshank Redemption is the most over-rated film he's ever seen.

Possilbly. But it is certain that the 'archaeological' dig he was involved in on his childhood trip to New Orleans was secretly for the purpose of accentuating the low-lying basin shape of the city and its susceptibility to extreme weather conditions.
