    Thought I'd follow Darobot's idea:

What are your best haircare tips?

    1. Untangle your hair in the shower before you rinse out conditioner. Makes it much easier.

    2. Don't brush your hair too much, it encourages split ends.

whoops too late, been dying my hair for 2 years!! but using a colour booster colour helps ;) ive never had blond in my hair, just stuck to red/plum, im back to my natural colour now (dark brown)

when shampooing, massage the scalp well and rinse thoroughly. try not to straighten it too much or tie it back really tight (hair scraped into a ponytail is not a good look :o)

sounds kinda nasty but let ur hair get greasy every so often (tie it up n wear a hat out if u want to!). the natural oils help repair hair and keep it shiny!

    1. Mayonaise is supposed to be a very good hair conditioner.
    2. Another tip is after conditioning, pile up hair on top of your head and wrap clingfilm around it for a few mins to retain heat and help seal in conditioner.
    3. After blowdrying, give your hair a blast with the hairdryer on the cool setting, this helps set the style.

Use an egg yoke to wash your hair! (I'm not exactly sure what its supposed to do!! Make it shiney I think!!)
Whatever you do don't get it mixed up! The yoke is the yellow part! My aunt used the white part of the egg once on her hair and it turned into scrambled egg in her hair!!!

When using your GHD's its really really helps to use a heat protector spray! Best ive found is GHD Oil Mist. My hair is so soft and shiny and i use them everyday

lollers @ Shinners i got a mental pic of you runnin around in the rain with a bucket collecting water to wash with!
i've actually heard that before its meant to be free of chemicals etc. and be more pure....supposedly J-lo washes her hair with bottled water like evian or somethin...

I find that stuff like this, indeed any mousses or gels or sprays of any kind, dull my colour really badly. :(

Does this befall anyone else or is there a way around it?
