windows media player - mps bit rate

    when i copy my cds to my pc using win media player on XP home, they copy as 56kbs and i cannot change this, should they not be 128kbs?? and does anyone know how to change it so they automatically copy as 128kbs??

    Uh yeh,
    Dont use Media Player:)
    If you to to Tools - Options - CD Audio you can change the quality you want to record at.

    go to tools>options>copy music

    you can set it to whatever you want.
