bus accident on stillorgan dual carriage way?

Anyone know what happened to the 746 at around 12 noon today? Stopped up on the way into town just after Brewery road. Didn't look like it hit another car and there was a person on the ground receiving cpr.

I really hope it wasn't a cyclist, that would be little too close to home ... me, my brother and dad have been commuting by bike along that road for years. Could have been a passenger or pedestrian ...

Maybe a passanger on the bus fell ill?

I guess that's more likely, it's usually fairly safe there as the busses have slowed down for the stop ... and if you did get hit by a bus it's unlikely you'd need cpr

Well I was passing the spot again, it wasn't a cyclist. Didn't ask what had happened, but it must have been an accident of some sort as the Gardai and CIE were there investigating. I guess it will be on the news some time soon.

Just heard on the radio that a 61 yr old man died in this accident

He was crossing the road and didnt make it.
