Not sure if this is the right place, but here goes. I make a newsletter for work, we email it to all of our customers. Problem is, it looks sh1t, its really plain and boring.
I know Quark can help spice up the appearance of a printed newsletter, but is that the programme I would need for an online newsletter?

Also, how much would it cost?

This is wat out of our price range, anyone got any ideas?

Quark would only be useful for an email newsletter if you were going to send it out as PDF, which might be quite cumbersome and annoying for customers.

Ideally you should be sending an email newsletter as html - ala the promotional ones you'd get off cdwow or some such with images et all.

Here is an article about doing that:

If you are not ok with html, an editor such as dreamweaver or frontpage will help you achieve what you are looking for.

There is an excellent DTP program called PagePlus. You can download a free version from

It is ideal for what you need.
