    can anyone help?
    4 players at table pre-flop...lets say A(€40 in chips) B(50) C(100) D(150)
A is dealer.....B goes all in.....C calls him and goes all in (basically C is only risking 50).....but then D goes all in...A folds

does this mean that C has to put in all his chips(the other 50)and then the side pot with D is 100?

    or

if player C calls player B(ie just puts in 50)...and then player D also calls B(with 50)....and then C & D continue to bet post flop?

i guess all in,means "all in"

Main pot is 150, B,C and D's 50. Side pot is then C's other 50 and another 50 from D.

Because C went all in and D called there will be no action post flop as all players are all in.

C calls him and goes all in (basically C is only risking 50)
It's a bit unclear when you say C is only risking 50, but from the first part I assume that player C called the first all-in of 50, and raised all-in himself for his remaining 50? If so, then the previous reply is spot on i.e. a main pot of 150 (excluding blinds) and a side-pot between C and D of 100. All cards turned over (assuming a tournament scenario), as there is no more betting.

If player C just calls the original all-in, and player D moves all-in, then player C still has a decision to make for his remaining 50 i.e. he can still fold, and player B and D would contest the pot of 150. If he calls, then the main pot is 150 and the side pot is 100, as before. Again, everyone is all-in if he calls.

If both players C and D just call the original all-in of 50, then there is a main pot of 150, and there can still be betting between player C and player D post-flop.
