    FRANCIS COURCHINOUX
    THE FIVE SEASONS

I've played during six years in a band called "Desdemona" in South of France, started a new solo project in Ireland recently, recorded my first album "The Five Seasons" on my own composing all instruments, started few gigs in Dublin this year, and I'm setting up the full band with the drummer Gavin Ryan to play more gigs next year.

The music style could be defined as a mix of Progressive Metal, Flamenco, Classical music with some jazz influences.

I hope you will take time to listen to my music and please don't hesitate to put your comments in my web site guestbook. :D

Francis Courchinoux will play his solo album "The Five Seasons". The music mixes different inspirations such as Progressive Metal, Flamenco, Jazz, Rock, and Classical music. It brings different musical emotions from different instruments and tones and the songs take a different approach from the usual one.

The drums dont stick to a specific pattern and the guitar techniques brings the melody to another level.

Half of the set is played on electric guitar (Steve Vai / Dream Theater music style), and the other half on acoustic guitar (with some flamenco flavor).

Two special guests will open the show, Noelle O'Sullivan coming from Limerick, and Gavin Ryan from Cork who will be "The Five Seasons" drummer in 2006!
