    Hey,

I'm considering going to Fiji (the islands maybe) from Brisbane for about a week.

Budget-wise I think I've got around 600 euro to play around with. Cheaper would be nice though ;)

    Anybody been recently? Any advice?

    Much appreciated.

Try Virgin Blue, they have Happy Hours specials! But Qantas can have good specials too. Check their websites.

Actually in Noosa at the minute - torrential rain and flash flooding here. Mental.

    Anyway, Fiji....

It seems to be expensive if you do everything separately.

Virgin Blue do packages but they only look so-so.

oooh, I saw Noosa on the news tonight....a gazillion years rain in a few hours

This happens in Qld in Summer tho! It is the 'wet' season afterall!!!!

SO, do you really want to see the Islands??

What is it you are AFTER???? You can see Tonga, Vanuatu for prob cheaper, and I love Port Vila in Vanuatu....

Yeah, mental weather, Lovely and sunny today though. Hence the vicious burn on my upper body. Ah well...

I've abandoned the Islands plan altogether - I haven't got the money. Just heading back to Sydney for a week now. Beaching and beering before I head on home to an Irish winter. Joy.

    Cheers all the same!
