Hello. I am planning on buying a new pc for Christmas. Im hoping it will be fairly hi-tech so that it will last for a number of years. I recently saw a p.c in Office 1 and was wondering was this value for money

    Hp Pavilion t3245
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 processor 3700+
    RAM- 1GB DDR-SDRAM
    HD- 250 GB
    DVD Drive-16x max
DVD Writer- Double Layer 16x/8x with Light Scrib
Video Adapter Nvidia GeForce 6200 Turbocache
    7 USB Ports, 2Fire-Wire, 2 free PCI, .
    Monitor 17" TFT

    Total Cost €1245

I will be using my pc mainly for gaming and downloading music and movies.
Is this pc value for money, are there any problems with it or can anyone suggest any suitable new pcs for sale. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

You wont be gaming for that long with that graphics card, get the Aldi PC they still have some left, but you dont get a monitor with it €1099 its a complete bargain and beats the hell out of the pc above :)

Not cheap at all, do as above and keep an eye out on the FS forums.
