Just trying out this monitor that my brother picked up in work.
Didnt think it would be much but wow i was wrong.
Currently im using a Samsung 19" syncmaster crt and love the image quality but this 22" Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2040u that the brother picked up is just from another planet.
Ive just run some of my games @ 2,048 x 1,536 resolution at 75hz.
Ive never seen an image so crisp it is simply breathtaking.
Im totally blown away by it but more surprised that i never heard of this monitor before.
Im finding it hard to find extensive reviews and info on it on the net, maybe someone can help with links or comment on this monitor please?
Finding mostly short customer reviews with folk raving about it but no hardware webbie reviews and the like.

I have the 2020u and the screen quality is absolutely brilliant! It shows text as clearly as LCD but shows pictures very well too. I got it for free as my dad's company replaced his entire machine with a new dell. He was allowed to give me the old one. I'm using it in 1600x1200 so I can read text without a magnifying glass but it can do 1920x1440 @ 75 ms I think.

The big problem with it is just that... It takes up half a dest and there is a bend in the desk underneath the monitor. We are looking for a good LCD to use now.

Having had a right go with it i must confess to preferring the image quality and sheer colour beauty of my Samsung Syncmaster 19".
I put it back on tonight to compare and it is beautiful.
The diamond pro has awesome capabilities but as i say the image looks so much sharper and clearer on my Samsung.
I really cant make up my mins as the diamond pro has a much bigger viewing area.
For now the image quality of Samsung is winning the battle :)
