I'm going to a gig in town near Bus Aras later. Anywhere to park around there?

Dropping in for a few minutes.

P.s. It's a Battle of the Bands in aid of Charity. Should be a good gig.

In Isaac Butt's. My mate is organising it and I'm going down to lend some morale support.

The Car park in the IRISH LIFE MALL ( access from Abbey st. opposite the VHI building) is probably the best and definately the nearest. Or you could park on the south Quays

I dunno opening hours of the car parks..
pfft. there's ample parking spaces around the area...but it's kind of a given that there's a ,um, strong possibility that something will happen to your car.
Remember to use alarm, locks, and keep stuff out of plainsight.

I don't have alloys so i'll be ok in that regard.

Where do you enter that Car Park from?
