Jackson or Ibanez electric

Hey all,

Im looking to get a new guitar but im seriously low on cash so im not planning on spending more than €350ish

Was thinking of a bottom of the line Jackson from Music maker or a bottom of the line Ibanez.
Actually i dont even know if i would get an ibanez for that money??


I have a bc rich mockingbird already so im looking for something not quite so pointy

Should i even bother buying one for this price or would it be a heap of junk?

Any suggestions?

Ibanez has a whole bunch of nice guitars in that price range, nothing really fancy, but all very playable, I wager.

AXS32, the Iceman, the Destroyer, the SA160QM, and the SZ320.

found loads of guitars i like on this site and i havent even checked out the ones you guys suggested yet.

Its amazing the difference in the prices and the selection. Rip off republic is right!

The esp isnt available til february so i bought an even cooler guitar.So glad the other one wasnt in stock now.

no offence man, but i really think you're wasting your money.. You already have a BC Rich, i presume it plays ok? So why waste 380 euro on a *ok* guitar? It makes no sense to me tbh.

Personally i would have stuck with the one you have, save up and then look into buying a good guitar, in a few months you'll probably want to do that anyway regardless of buying a new guitar now.. You'll soon realise that the guitars you have are mediocre and you WILL want a quality guitar, it's a disease all us musicans are struck down with at some point.

i have like 3 quality guitars and i still be mediocre ones for the craic lol

if i had to i'd buy a medeocre one as a back up, and i'd probably mess about with it, try and upgrade the electronics etc over time. But i wouldn't buy one just for the sake of it..

Thankfully i don't need a back up, i have the strat, orville LP custom black beauty and Gibson SG to choose from... heh heh heh:D

79 Strat, Tokai ls85q, Fernandes Revolver. I buy the other ones for different reasons. Black Beauty copy, Perspex body strat, Hohner for inverted headstock..things like that

but i do use them all for different things. I gigged my Lp copy for a long time before gettin my tokai. I even used it over my Fernandes sometimes but i have fallen back in love with my fernandes

as soon as i get my orville i imagine my strat will take a step back for quite some time..

for that price, look for an ibanez RGt42 for the specs and price that guitar is fxcking great, Change the pups in it and its an amazing guitar, if i was right handed id buy 4
