How do I backup a copy of my Outlook to cd?

I know it is a stoopih question, but I want to make a copy of my MS Outlook 2000 folder (including mails, contacts etc.) to a cd How do I do this???

File -> Import and Export -> Export to a File -> Personal Folder File, select everything you want backed up. You can then burn this file to a CD.

Just to note you have to backup your rules and account settings also when exporting to a .pst file it doesn't include those.

Is your contacts backed up when exporting a .pst file? I thought it was also separate.
