PC wont start

Firstly here is my spec, everything is at stock:

    DFI SLI-DR
    AMD 3500+
    1GB GSKill LA PC4800

A couple of days ago my PC suddenly froze when I was playing a game. So I tried to reboot but it wouldnt. The LED lights all lit up but it didnt to anything after that. Tried restarting a couple of times but same thing so I left it and went to bed. Woke up the next morning and reboot my pc and everything was fine. Was using it for an hour and it froze again while I watching movie. Then I tried rebooting it and now I am getting a single beep before POST. Reading the manual it says that I have a DRAM problem. Tried to reboot a few times and still getting the single beep error.
So I left it for a few hours and then came back. Took 1 stick of ram out and reset cmos. It booted fine up to windows and then I got BSOD. So at this point I am thinking the BSOD was because I had only 512MB of ram instead of 1GB. Put back the other stick of RAM and it booted up to windows boot screen and then it hanged. Kept trying a couple of times with the same effect until it suddenly started chkdsk on C drive and fixed a few errors. Then it revboot fine. For 4-5 hours i was using my PC to surf and watch movie without a problem so I decided to try playing game. Everything was fine for about 1 hour or so and then it froze again.
Since then nothing I do works. If I have both stick of RAM, the PC wont even go past POST, all 4 led lights on the mobo are on and it keeps a single beep over and over again. If I take out 1 stick of ram, it post no problem but as soon as it is about to load windows boot screen, it restarts and the cycle keeps on going that way. I cant even get it to boot from CD.
I am certain its not a RAM problem as I have tried a couple of RAM and same thing happen. I'm sure its not my graphic card as it can post. So I am thinking its either my mobo, hdd or PSU.

    Any thoughts on fixing this?

Could be many things - could be fecked mobo or worse still, fecked cpu; dodgy PSU as you said or it could simply be over-heating.
It could also be an over-heating system that's now fecked your mobo, cpu or memory.

You'll need to systematically work it out. If it's a newly built machine, check the heat-sink & cpu contact - not too much paste, not too little. Check the air flow. Does the problem go away if the machine is cold?

Disconnect the HDD and try boot from CD. Try a different HDD.

Disconnect any devices that you don't need to boot the machine (SCSI cards, USB-powered devices, extra ROM drives etc.) Reduce the strain on thr PSU and see if that helps - that may indicate an under-powered or faulty PSU.

Change as many items as possible to rule them out - if it still won't work, it has to be something that hasn't been changed. Can you get your hands on other PSU's and maybe CPU's? That would only leave the mobo.

Even if you get it working, make sure it's not a temperature issue that causing parts to fail or you'll end up doing this again.
