    Digital Rights Ireland formally launches on Tues Dec 6th at 11.15am at the Pearse Street Library in Dublin. Directions here.

    If you can, please do come along and say hello and have a chat with us after the main conference. Invite others too who may be interested. Space may be limited so if you are going and bringing some others please let us know so we can calculate numbers.

    Great to see DRI launched by the way. As has been said, there's an AWFUL lot of work to do in this area, and we're grossly unrepresented in Ireland when it comes to things like the utterly horrendous EUCD, the bullying Ireland is being subjected to on biometric/radio-frequency IDs, and the bound-to-be-abused Data Retention /idiocy/ being sponsored by the Irish Government in general, and McDohell in general. A leash is definitely needed.
