Young hansov's teacher was getting one of these with chocs…

Bewleys ran an advert in todays Indo and Times recalling the free cafetiere that came in a promo pack. replytohere brought the promo to our attention here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054855034. Young hansov's teacher was getting one of these with chocs for Christmas. Back to the drawing board.................

they specify the problem associated with it?
Can not hold hot liquids?

The ad said that the recall was due to "a slight risk of breakage of the cafetiere". "In a small number of cases the pots cracked when boiling water was added".

I suppose you could carry out stress tests a couple of times with boiling water without coffee to see if yours is one of the small number of cases!
