How to ease Blog overload?

Is there a Web-based way to make the management and reading of blogs easier.

I'd love a site that looks like a portal, and allows me to add RSS blog feeds of my own choice. I'm sick of having to browse to the different blogs each day and I don't want another application running on my PC.

So anyone know of a website that provides this ability?

    Thanks, Bam.

A lot of decent mail clients now support RSS, so if you've already got one installed you could just use that. Mozilla Thunderbird certainly does anyway, dunno if Outlook does.

    *shrug*
create a web page with links to each blog; or use (i)Frames to display the different blogs on one page..

em - yes - create your own blog. Plenty of systems you can 'Register' with and then you'll need to build in the feeds that you want to display via the built in rss feed - generally a reserver.php or some such (saying resrerver.php as thats what my system uses)..

One way of doing it or you could write your own.

Probably get more help in the webmaster/flasg forum for this kind of question :)

The Google customised homepage should work well for you.

    http://www.google.com/ig

You can add RSS feeds for it and other stuff too.

Firefox has RSS Feed abilities on it. Look for the littel yoke on the bottom right of the screen when the site has an RSS feed and click subscribe.

Same with Opera, the RSS feed thing is in the address bar i think and you can open a tab with all the feeds in it.

Alternatively have a gander at zFeeder (I think that's what it's called, google for it.

Install it onto a php page somewhere and login to it and you can aggregate all the feeds to one page. Problem is some paths for links won't work and images might not show up (this is a problem with blogs not using absolute paths for things)

Edit: yes here it is http://zvonnews.sourceforge.net/
