Don't know if can nominate Boards, but I will. All I use it for is Poker.

    This and Blonde Poker.

Some good blogs out there but I'm going to nominate Antesup for the great Irish slanted WSOP coverage.

So is that a nomination for both or just boards? Have to be clear or I'll get stick for leaving things out.

Both. I'm sure Bonde will get a mention anyhow, but just in case Boards was overlooked since the vote is on here, not that it would get overlooked though I'm sure.

I think boards should be excluded. It would be a bit of a joke if boards awaarded itself an award like this:)

It would be worse if it was nominated and didn't win :D

Blonde poker for the live updates which frankly kick Antesup ass at present. Dev and shortstack are having it put up to them and I hope they respond strongly. It's a small and very similar space they are both covering and I fear for Anteup at the minute.

2+2 for the strategy threads which when you seperate the wheat from the chaff are great stuff.

I enjoy Daniel Negreanu and the Milky bar kids blogs (pro blogs) and all the boardsters efforts with a special mention to BigD and Rounder123 efforts which I follow closely (especially now that BigD is back on the air in a big way!:D )

So whats the most important thing to me on the web? I guess it would have to be Blonde poker by a nose (after boards but I don't think we should be nominating ourselves.)

    Thanks for the kind words.

I think Antesup are working on a blond style live tournament update platform which would be very good.

Funny, I don't see it that way. Blond does for England what we would like to do for Ireland (and to be fair, we pretty much succeed at). Are Blond better at it then we are? Well they are very good and well funded while Mike and I fund ourselves from the advertising (which isnt a great deal). They've been doing it longer then us too as we are still learning the ropes!
We are different, Blond is about earnest reporting. We're about 2 blokes wandering around the world having a laugh and reporting on the Irish specifically.

    DeV.

    :D:p;)

    Antesup.com

I still hate the interface but as my mum always said 'Dont judge a book by its cover'....no.....wait.....it was....'Dont let the parish priest touch you down there!'

The content during the WSOP was addictive as was the irc chat. Merit badge to Dr Pauly, rounders123, culchie and I like milkybarkid and blondepoker.

Interesting the debate on Antesup v Blondepoker. I'm actually not a big fan of the forum method of live updating. Almost everything these days seems to assume you will be reading these things at the moment they are appearing. If I go back to find out what happened by reading the forum report it will be 90% inane crap tbh.
A blog format is better but still has problems. For example arrive late and you need to scroll down to the bottom, scroll up to find the beginning of the last post, read it then scroll up to the beginning of the second last post and so on. Honestly millions of blogs out there and not one allows you to read things by date order. The world is reverse date order mad (sorry tecchy in me coming out). It amazes me constantly.

In the absence of being allowed to nominate www.specialdays.ie as the best site for decent poker stuff at great prices (got the advert in there) in my humble opinion the very best and totally independent site on poker is www.homepokertourney.com - This guy runs the site on a voluntary basis and put totally independent views on a huge range of poducts, poker issues etc etc. - Operated from USA.

[sarcasm]This is a perfect example of a nice clear post explaining who is being nominated, providing links to sites mentioned. Makes my job easier.[/sarcasm] Anyway there are over 10 nominations now and 10 is the max unless I get some extras for being a mod Dev?

I will probably have to whittle it down to 10. I suppose I'll pick the most well known out of the 13/14 that have been mentioned.
