The bigger teams always have junior teams which are "Pub League". Usually that sorta level doesn't matter so much about skill. As long as you can catch a ball and hold on to someone you should be ok:D

    Unidare RFC :D

We are a J4 club and this year we started the season pretty well! Won our first 2 League games against Lansdowne and Parkmore and we've also qualified for the blitz finals! :D

All info. in regards to training times/locations on the (very very good) website!

Clontarf have teams up to j5 or j6 so there is no problem at all being a newcomer and playing down there. Played for the j3 team last week and the standard of rugby is nothing special. Catching the ball is not nessecerely a prerequisite :D

Original poster: come down to Clontarf at 7pm on a Tuesday or Thursday. Get dressed in the 1st or 2nd changing room, and head to the far end of the training pitch - there'll be guys playing tip between 7.10 and 7.30 for warmup. Join in, and introduce yourself to the coaches when we start training.

shoutman: Clontarf field up to J4 only. So, another Teeling?! Jaysus.

Have you tried Coolmine, Skerries, Ashbourne, Balbriggan, Malahide or Swords Rugby clubs?
