    Hi Guys
can anyone recommend a good HDD dvd recorder which has time slip and region free and all the other nice little bobbins that these things have without going too mad on the price?

    Cheers

ya might find this gets a better response from the Comp -> Consumer Electronics -> Home Entertainment forum.

On topic though - the panasonic's are hard to beat - score high and are feature packed.

I'd recommend picking up a copy of What Home Cinema or something like - even Stuff Magazine will have their top ten at the back and are likely to have other reviews as well as a hot scantily-clad chick on the front...
