Anyone know what's going on and when/if we'll have power back?

Parts of Terryland have been without electricity since 11pm or so last night and it was still out when I left the house around 11 this morning.

Well seen that it's not affecting me further east in the city (ballybrit - work) i'd say it's a localised issue proablly due to someone digging etc. best thing to do would be to ring ESB

They've already got people on the scene. I just hope it's not another night of darkness! It's really boring!

Sounds like a call for a night in the pub if you ask me, well either that or the cinema. just as well it happened now, as oppose to last week when it was quite abit colder!

I noticed it last night driving home - the whole of Tirellan was in darkness. I live further out the Headford Road and we didn't loose power.

The traffic lights were out on the bridge all day today, probably still are. The cops only appeared for an hour this morning when they should be there all day. Its an accident waiting to happen.

Don't know if the incidents are related or not.

What a coincidence Simu, our power went too, it sucked...all we could do was scare people in the darkness, nearly set the house on fire and I tried to make a cheese sandwich in pitch black :D

What madness. Luckily for me I have my survival expertise as learned watching Little House on the Prairie.

    Im in tirellan.
Power was out yesterday from 10ish to 12. Only two hours, not so bad.
So bored i fell asleep before it came back.
Then the tv and broadband went for about 10 minutes this evening around 6:45.
That is all i know! :)
