Windows Update - Needing the same updates everytime

I am experiencing some problems with windows update. I run windows update and it says everything has been installed successfully. When I reboot and search for updates again its saying the updates that it reported installed correctly are needed! The OS is ME. Any ideas?

Try and Uninstall the updates from Add/remove software, reboot and then DL Updates again
