Where to buy Liverpool Jersey?

Ok, I know this should prob be in the soccer forum, but I can't post there!!

I want to buy the 05/06 Liverpool Training jersey, but they're sold out on the Liverpool website.

I know they're in sports shops around town BUT, I want to get a players name & number on the back of the jersey (even on the website, they don't seem to give that option on training gear)

So, my question is simply, where can I get this?
When items are out of stock on the website for a while, do they get restocked or can I forget about that.

Can I buy the jersey in an ordinary shop & then bring it somewhere in town to get the name & number put onto it?

Is it right that Arnotts do that? & if so, what's the quality like, is it rubbish?

I haven't got a clue about football or anything, so all help would be really appreciated

(Plus I don't support any team, so there's no point saying 'Liverpool crap', blaa blaa blaa)

    Thanks!

most shops that sell them should be able to put the name and number on for you.
not sure what jersey you mean, but a lot of the 'training' rather than replica kit have logos on the back right where you would put the number..

I've just added a picture in.

I don't know what's on the back of the jersey so I don't know if there's a logo on it.

    Thanks for your reply.
Would the name & number coming from the shops selling the jerseys be crap & tacky looking or what?

Afaik, there's carlsberg on the back. Why would you want a name and number on the back of a training top? Even if you do get it done I can assure you that you'll end up getting even more odd looks. The most printing that can be done on those sort of tops is the initials in the top right/left hand corner. But to be honest not many clubs do that now

I don't, but AFAIK, a certain person does!

Like I said, I know nothing about football, so I don't know what a strange request is!!

as the lads say I have the same top in red and it has reebok right across the middle of the back, you can't get a number put on it and a name wouldn't look right..

they are also quite hard to get in the shops here, I got mine in lifestyle a fair while ago and it was the red one, they didn't have that colour and haven't seen it anywhere else..

I've looked at the new strip on the Liverpool website, & it's definitely that jersey, I'm not getting it confused.
Anyway, it was Lifestyle I saw it in too, in that colour. He was there too & looked at it, but I remem him saying something like it didn't the number etc on it so it was no good & they were sold out on the website!

As I know nothing about football I thought nothing of it until I've started looking up websites to get one with numbering & that's where I'm having the problem.

I just would've thought he'd know better, that's why I'm questioning whether or not I've got the right jersey, but I do!!

Well, if it can't be done, it can't be done.
    Thanks anyway.

I feel a shopping for a voucher trip coming on!!!:o

sorry, I meant I hadn't seen it in the shops here, it does exist of course!

don't know what to tell you about the number, maybe you could get it for him and he can bring it back/get a name put on it later.

If they have it in lifestyle still you could go in and double check that it has 'reebok' across the back, if so I don't see how you could stick a number over it as it would look silly...

Daveym, sorry, I didn't mean I thought you were doubting me, I meant I'm doubting myself as with this gut being a big fan, you'd think he'd know about the logo on the back himself!!
That's all I was saying, but then I ws just reassuring myself in saying that it definitely is the right top.

No apology necessary from you. Thanks for your input.
