Ok, I thought this would be a good idea for a thread.

Anyone who has cheap, effective tips on skincare please contribute.

    Here goes:

    1)

For a nice fresh look in the morning, leave the shower on it's coldest setting and hold the nozzle to your face for 20 seconds
(Gets the circulation going in your face and tightens up your skin)

    2)

After your shower, pat your face with towel, and put on moisturiser straight away-don't let your skin totally dry. This helps lock in the moisture.

    3)

Honey is a cheap but really good face mask. You don't need too much, leave it on for 20 mins.

    4) If you have any dry skin patches, rub loads of moisturiser onto the skin (I recommend Aqueous cream.. its the best moisturiser EVER!.. and its really cheap too!) Get a face cloth and wet it with really hot water, squeeze out the excess water but make sure the cloth is still really hot, then rub the moisturiser off really hard and it takes all the dry skin with it! I promise you will have skin like a babie's bum!

    5) For an excellent home made exfoliating scrub: Mix up some sea salt in a cup with baby oil, mix it untill it has a crushed ice texture. Rub allover your body and rinse off with ward water! FAB!! :D

DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL the night before wanting to look good for ANYTHING

make two cups of tea, remove tea bags, leave in fridge for an hour (helps to add milk AFTER removing bags from cups :p ), place tea bags on tired puffy eyes. Alternatively use thick slices of cucumber or cold aloe vera gel.

If that doesn't help, YSL Le Touche Eclat. Magically banishes under eye darkness.

Fill a bowl with boiling water, out a towel over your head and lean over it. It helps your pores.

Never ever use soap on your skin.

Always shave after the shower (unless you've been in a sauna et al before hand)

Maybe that's because you're still drunk in the morning?

Also, whats the story witht that new hugo boss skincare range? I was tempted to get the mosituriser/revitilisar but it wad like 30euro..is it really worth it?

Yeah, always look better the day after a night on the tiles, but the day after the day after, I look and feel like a prairie dog.

Manuka Honey is fandabbydozy. It is from New Zealand and the bees pollinate from euclyptus trees, so the honey has antiseptic properties.

Great for cuts and bruises also as it clears 'em up.

I have been using mild wrinkle creams since I turned 21. I clense and tone like everyone else, the I use L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise RevitaLift Eye Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Cream,

    http://www.epinions.com/L_Oreal_Dermo-Expertise_RevitaLift_Eye_Anti-Wrinkle_and_Firming_Cream

    Followed by Garnier Wrinkle Lift

    http://mall.coimbatore.com/bnh/garnier/wrinklelift.htm.

I am 24 now and not a hint of a wrinkle, or any puffiness around the eyes.

I have tried other products over the years but found those to be the best.

That said, avon do a really good wrinkle cream in the anew range, it really plumps up and fills out any creases.
